Matekite/Tohunga - Wiremu Niania - Co-author of Award winning book, Collaborative and Indigenous Mental Health Therapy - Tataihono: Stories of Maori healing in Psychiatry, and his wife, Lesley Niania, (Mahi Wairua lead Trainor) facilitate this interactive noho.
Matanga Mahi Wairua - This wananga is specifically for Te Ika a Maui residents, however you will not be excluded if you opt to attend from other areas.
PRE-REQUISITE: To have attended and completed the 1st noho of the three year course Understanding & Developing Matekite. (This may have been online or in-person).
Year One - PIA - consists of 3 x noho in Te Ika a Maui and 1 x Zoom.
Year Two - TAURA - consists of 3 x noho in Te Ika a Maui and 1 x ZOOM.
Year Three - TAUIRA - consists of 4 x noho (practicum)
